Mission: To be the preeminent inbound wholesale operator specializing in the Eastern and Southern United States and Eastern and Maritime Canada offering a full range of group and individual tour and travel products to domestic and international markets. TOURCO will market its core product exclusively to domestic and international trade clients, including wholesale and retail tour operators, motorcoach companies, airline wholesalers and retail travel agents. To keep abreast of industry trends in product development, demand and delivery and to develop niche and boutique products as requested by its market segments.

Overview: Founded as Cape Cod Tour & Conference Associates, its primary product was Cape Cod destination tours. As demand for fully-packaged New England programs increased, TOURCO pioneered offering such programs. In 1981, the company was re-named TOURCO and, in 1988, TOURCO began marketing its FIT and group New England products to tour operators in Europe, Australia and South America in addition to its domestic and Canadian marketing initiatives.

TOURCO will offer products bearing the customer’s “private label;” provide the most competitive products and outstanding service to customers and passengers; provide the tools, education and nurturing environment conducive to support its employees’ professional, personal and economic growth; maintain alliances with suppliers through professional and ethical business practices; and operate a profitable company ensuring requisite investments in human and other resources.

Destinnations New England (Retail Only): In March 2000, TOURCO acquired Destinnations New England, a consortium of forty of New England’s finest country inns, resorts and character properties. Under the Destinnations New England brand TOURCO will market pre-packaged and tailor-made New England itineraries to consumers and travel agents domestically and internationally.

Yankee Magazine Vacations (Retail Only): TOURCO announced its exciting new venture with Yankee, namely Yankee Magazine Vacations, in April. For more than 60 years, Yankee has featured the best of New England, and, together with TOURCO in this venture, provides easy, dependable access for consumers and travel agents to visit the places Yankee loves best. TOURCO’s product line endows Yankee Magazine Vacations with the full spectrum of regional lodging, from traditional country inns and character properties, boutique hotels, resorts to full-service hotels-and everything in between. Under the Yankee Magazine Vacations brand, TOURCO will market pre-packaged and tailor-made itineraries to consumers and travel agents domestically, including airline tickets and car hires.

Fly Drive Tours (Wholesale Only): Exciting and imaginative itineraries featuring the US and Canadian Atlantic coasts. Ranging from seven to 21 nights, each itinerary features various gateway options. Fly drives include comprehensive passenger documents including detailed routings, attractions and information of interest plus maps and brochures highlighting points of interest.

Flexi Fly Drive Tours (Wholesale Only): Operators can provide their clients with increased flexibility in that passengers may extend or decrease the number of nights in any TOURCO destination.

Custom Fly Drive Tours (Wholesale Only): Offering the maximum in flexibility in all of TOURCO’s destinations and supported by tailor-made, in-language documentation.

Signature Fly Drive Tours (Wholesale Only): These TOURCO tours are created specifically for tour operators’ brochures and are designed to be branded as the operator’s own.

FIT and Group Motorcoach Tours (Wholesale Only): Passengers will explore the American and Canadian Atlantic coasts aboard deluxe motorcoaches. Multiple gateways (departures from Boston, MA; New York, NY; and Washington, DC) and scheduled departures are offered in a variety of languages (multilingual guides and tour directors are available). Tours range in length from five to 14 nights and are escorted by professionally-trained TOURCO guides or tour directors. TOURCO will happily quote on any group itinerary within its geographical repertoire.

City Packages (Wholesale Only): City packages are available in Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA: New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC: and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Specialty Tours (Wholesale Only): TOURCO, with its creative, imaginative staff and regional knowledge, is uniquely capable of designing them and special-interest itineraries for the traveler with unique needs or more discriminating tastes. TOURCO’s Scrapbook of Learning Adventures offer many themes-cultural, architectural, literary, aesthetic, historical, culinary and many other special interests (catalogue available).

FIT Hotel and Inns, Resort and Character Properties (Wholesale Only): Operators’s passengers can select from TOURCO’s extensive selection of lodging options and design individually tailored itineraries. TOURCO’s array of contracted properties feature accommodations ranging from moderate to ultra luxe, from quaint country inns to contemporary resorts featuring hosts of amenities (Inns, Resort and Character Properties 2000/2001 brochure available).

Gateway Services (Wholesale Only): Meet & Greets, transfers and optional excursions and sightseeing.

Back Roads & Country Inns of New England (Retail & Wholesale): Escorted maxivan tour taking in New England’s most enduring destinations. A spacious 15-passenger maxivan (with a maximum complement of seven passengers) will whisk passengers through New England taking in many of the region’s wonderful sights and attractions. Overnight stays at country inn and character properties, lobster dinner, all museum admissions.
